With swathes of glittering beaches, San Diego basks in the Californian sun, and thanks to the 300 days of sunny weather per year and to the temperatures fluctuating between 19 and 25 C°, the relaxed and friendly atmosphere helps you ease into life and find your place in the community.It is a city seething with entertainment – festivals, museums, sports stadiums, Belmont amusement park, and even the famous annual Comic-Con – guaranteed to have something new waiting for you each time you step downtown. Nature is also never far away with mountains, desert, and Cleveland National Park within driving distance.
Courses
During the first semester, you will be able to have standard or intensive English classes (20 or 28 lessons of 50’) downtown San Diego. Access to the school will be very easy thanks to the great public transport system, and you will be able to discover all that San Diego has to offer. Our school is renowned for their friendly and experienced professors, as well as for the maximum of 8 participants that they request for each class.The second semester will take place on Grossmont College campus, located 20 minutes away from the San Diego beaches, and 15 minutes away from downtown. Around 18.000 students set foot on that campus every year and participate in the numerous activities offered by the various student clubs during their free time. They can also take part in the cultural, artistic and athletic events organised on campus.

Extre-curricular Activities
Thanks to its mild and sunny climate throughout the year, San Diego is a great city for outdoor activities; you will always find something to do, whether it is on the beach or downtown. Concerts and festivals give rhythm to the city life, but you can also enjoy many different restaurants, bars, parks and museums that the city is filled with. The language school frequently organises activities and excursions for participants. The campus also has a lot to offer, the students have indeed access to all the College installations, and it is in the American culture to take part in the student life, which is very lively.A friendly International events society, which has both international and local students in its membership, will quickly help you on your way to getting to know San Diego and making friends. There are also a huge range of other societies that you can join, representing many different interests, sports and hobbies.
Accommodation
Student ResidenceStandard accommodation is in a well-equipped student residence, in shared or single rooms (if available at the time of the booking) with bathroom, with shared kitchen, lounge, tv, etc., located within walking distance from the school (about 25 minutes). There is no board included in the residence accommodation, but you will have a microwave oven and a mini-fridge in your room, as well as shared kitchens on each floor.
Host Family
Host families are an excellent way to immerse yourself in American culture and life. Families welcome students to share their homes, either as part of a family or while living more independently. You will be provided with a single room and half board.
